Black Friday 2014- All the Retailers to Watch for a Top Tech Deal in the UK

Black Friday fever continues to make its way across the Atlantic this week, bringing another load of massive bargains to be had in the UK.

More retailers are jumping on board the event for 2014 and we know exactly where you should look for a top tech deal.
£100 off Kindle Fire HDX Tablets

 Amazon

One of the first retailers to bring Black Friday across the pond, Amazon kicked off its deals yesterday (November 24) with 3,000 'lightning deals' - a selection of items being sold at a discount price for a limited period.

There are deals to be had on everything from TVs to sound systems and smaller tech accessories.
The biggest bargain of all is for its own Kindle Fire HDX Tablet, which has £100 off 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models, bringing prices down to £99, £129 and £159 respectively.

Asda

As a subsidiary of US supermarket Walmart, Black Friday has already been adopted by Asda - as has the crazed customer rush.
The British supermarket is keeping its deals secret for the moment, although its website is already teasing unidentified tablets and televisions, which will be revealed on Wednesday.

Sales will be available in-store only from 8am on Friday at selected venues, so make sure you check your local Asda is participating.

John Lewis

John Lewis celebrated a corker of a Black Friday last year, so much so that it became its busiest online shopping day ever.
This year the department store will be at it again with a large selection of technology and electricals on offer, although exact deals are yet to be revealed.

Sales will be available online and in-store from 8am on Friday.
Sainsbury's

Sainsbury's is making a foray into Black Friday for 2014, offering bargains on tech such as televisions, tablets and audio accessories.

Exact details about what's on offer are being sent to Nectar customers on Wednesday before special Black Friday areas in 485 of its stores open on the big day.

Sainsbury's is getting in early, with offers starting from 1am in its 24-hour branches and at normal opening hours for other participating stores.

Tesco
Tesco will also have bargains on offer. It is launching Black Friday from 12.01am both in-store and online.

Argos
Another retailer taking part but not revealing much for the moment is Argos.

It's launched a countdown clock on its website and is promising "a huge sale on stock from our ranges of tech, toys, TV and more" from Friday.

Currys PC World

Britain's biggest computer and electronic retailer will have a wide range of offers available on Black Friday.

Game

Game is holding a week-long Black Friday event, cutting prices on top console titles and accessories. Many are going for limited periods, so you'll have to move fast.

Tuesday's deals include Grand Theft Auto V for PS4 and Xbox One at £41.59.

Maplin

After testing Black Friday online-only last year, Maplin has decided to bring the discounts to all 217 of its retail stores.

Its deals launched yesterday online, and include digital cameras and smartphone accessories, as well as some great gadgets.
The i-Spy Tank is down from £89.99 to £29.99 and allows users to stream live video and take photos with an app and a Wi-Fi connection.
